Overview

Little Magic Momo, situated in the heart of Osborne Park, WA, is a true culinary gem for anyone seeking an authentic Nepalese dining experience. This cozy yet vibrant restaurant offers a carefully curated menu that showcases Nepal’s rich food heritage, far from the usual Indian-fusion dishes often found elsewhere.

The spotlight here is undoubtedly on the momos and traditional thali sets. The Sadaeko Momo and pork momos stand out for their soft, juicy texture and deeply satisfying flavor, perfectly complemented by a tangy, house-made dipping sauce. For main courses, the Mutton Thali Set delivers a beautifully balanced array of vegetables, spices, and tender meat — a reflection of Nepalese culinary traditions that favour harmony over overpowering heat. The Big Breakfast Meal and dishes like Thupka and Veg Noodles add wholesome variety, appealing both to those new to Nepalese cuisine and seasoned fans.

The restaurant’s ambiance adds to the immersive experience. A mix of indoor and outdoor seating offers a relaxed atmosphere, enhanced by authentic brass bowls and cups that remind diners of traditional Nepalese hospitality. The friendly and attentive service, as noted by several patrons, complements the lively but warm space, making it ideal for small groups or casual family meals.

Beverage options are thoughtfully selected to mirror local tastes, featuring authentic Nepalese beers like Gorkha and Nepal Ice, alongside unique wine varieties including a traditional fermented wine served in authentic clay pots. This attention to cultural detail elevates each meal beyond just flavor.

Little Magic Momo clearly targets food enthusiasts looking for genuine Nepalese flavors delivered with care and precision. It suits diners who appreciate complex, aromatic spices that awaken rather than overwhelm the palate. Whether you’re craving a quick snack of paneer pakoda or settling in for a hearty mutton curry, the restaurant caters well to diverse preferences.

Overall, this venue shines as an authentic corner of Nepal in Perth, praised for its quality, authenticity, and a welcoming atmosphere that draws guests back time and again. If you're after a fresh, immersive taste of Nepalese cuisine with genuine hospitality, Little Magic Momo in Osborne Park is a destination well worth exploring.

Called in for dinner around 6 pm, and the seats were plentiful. Waitress brought cold water and menu. We chose the goat curry and rice with a plate of pork Momos and drinks. By 6.30 pm, the restaurant was almost almost full and buzzing. The food was delicious, very flavoursome and not too spicy hot. The pork Momos were also delicious. The service was good and friendly, our waitress KUKU was just great and very attentive. There is always a good atmosphere. We have dined in all of these restaurants in Perth, and this certainly rates with them. Well worth a visit.

Review for Little Magic Momo – Osborne Park Little Magic Momo is an authentic Nepali restaurant tucked away in Osborne Park — and what a find it is! They’ve really kept things true to their roots, with a great selection of Nepal’s popular beers and drinks like Gorkha, Nepal Ice, and even Nepali wines. The highlight for me was the traditional fermented wine, served beautifully in an authentic clay pot — a rare touch you don’t often see. The food is proper Nepali, so if you’re after butter chicken or the usual Indian-style dishes, this isn’t the place. Instead, go for the momos with the khana set — it’s a perfect balance of flavors with vegetables, proteins, and spices that work together beautifully. I had the mutton and it was fantastic. We also tried the chicken lollies — juicy, flavorful, and paired perfectly with the dipping sauce. Every dish looked and tasted amazing. The restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor seating, and the vibe is relaxed yet lively — it really captures the warmth of Nepali hospitality. The food has just the right kind of spice: it’s not overloaded with chillies, but it’s enough to make your taste buds wake up and enjoy every bite. It’s been a while since I’ve left a restaurant genuinely excited to return, but this one easily makes my favorites list. Price-wise, it sits nicely in the mid-range — great value for the quality you get. If you’re craving real Nepali flavors in Perth, Little Magic Momo is a must-visit.

Great little gem of a restaurant. Owners and staff were very friendly and were very helpful with explaining the menu options and explaining about the different dishes. All the food was made fresh to order. All the authentic Nepalese dishes were delicious, hot and you could taste all the different flavours of the Nepalese spices. We ordered a big selection of dishes to experience a variety of different food that we had never tried before. We weren't disappointed as each meal was very tasty and well presented. The Nepalese tea and mango lassi was also very nice. The restaurant was nicely decorated and had a lovely atmosphere. It was very busy but the service was still quick and efficient. The owner was very nice and came and had a little chat to us. We will definitely be back again. Thank you.

I had a lovely experience trying Nepalese cuisine here! The momos were absolutely delicious soft, juicy, and full of flavour, with the perfect dipping sauce on the side. The noodles were fresh and nicely spiced, full of crunchy vegetables. I also enjoyed the warm chai, which paired perfectly with the meal. Everything was served beautifully in brass bowls and cups, adding a nice authentic touch. Great food, generous portions, and very affordable prices. Definitely worth visiting again

First time visit, great experience. Not what you'd expect to find in an industrial location. Warm and welcoming staff. Very authentic food, very tasty. Contrary to some comments here, not every dish is spicy. We had our kids with us and they managed just fine (e.g. the chicken sausage). Definitely worth a visit!
